Return to Craft is a cohesive, four-course program designed to restore technique, discipline, imagination, and artistic integrity.

The Program

Return to Craft consists of four sequential courses:

Course 1 — The Foundation of Truthful Acting
Restore professional standards, core technique, and disciplined process.

Course 2 — Crafting: Breaking Down a Script
Approach text with precision, imagination, and clarity.

Course 3 — Creating Character
Create fully realized human beings rooted in behavior and fueled by imagination.

Course 4 — The Actor as Artist
Integrate craft, technique, and imagination into a personal artistic process.

Course 1 is required. 
Courses 2–4 build upon that foundation

By enrolling, you acknowledge that you are a trained actor voluntarily engaging in professional-level artistic training. Enrollment grants access to educational materials only and does not imply certification, endorsement, or evaluation.

Enrollment includes instructional materials only. Copies of copyrighted plays are not included.

Private coaching is an optional add-on to program enrollment and is reserved for serious, committed actors.

Private Coaching Discretion 
Private coaching is selective and offered solely at the discretion of Charlie Sandlan.  Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.  Coaching availability, format, and scheduling are subject to change.
